It's a finger drummin' - hymn hummin' ,
Bible readin' - prayin' chair,
Good for dozin - great for holdin',
Little folk belongin' there.

 

In a corner - by a window,
Watchin' bluebirds - flyin' by,
Neighbors stoppin' - neighbors noddin',
Wavin', smilin', sayin', "Hi."

 

A time serene - a time to dream,
Tender thoughts of yesteryear,
Music listenin' - eyes glistenin',
Grateful to be sittin' here.

 

China teacup - within reachin',
Brimmin' to the top with tea,
Rockin', sippin' - sippin', rockin'
God's sure bein' good to me.
